Renault Kwid Limited Edition Elevates the Design Language
I have been working with an MNC for over 4 years now. In my first year of the job, I bought a bike which not only helped me in my daily commute but also helped me explore the world around me.
Now two promotions later, I wanted to upgrade to a car. While my parents supported my decision, they had something more in their minds. So while I was searching for a car, unknown to me, they were searching for a suitable girl to get me married.
Recently both our searches were rewarded. Mine with a Renault Kwid and theirs with Nikita.
Days later, our families met, and we both found each other compatible. Eventually, we got engaged in a small ceremony with close family and friends.
When Nikita got to know that I was searching for a car, she suggested that I also include Renault Kwid in my list. I was always impressed by Renault Kwid’s design, and it was indeed one of my two finalists. So, I booked a test drive online to check out Kwid in detail.
In the meanwhile I checked out Renault’s Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter handles to know more about Kwid’s design in detail.
The car came at the designated hour to my place. I called over Nikita to join me for the test drive. The Renault representative suggested that I take a look at the recently introduced Renault Kwid limited edition which came with an Ice Cool White body and a Mystery Black roof. As I had already visited the Renault Kwid festive limited edition webpage and desired a classy white car, I readily agreed to have a look at this new offering.
I must confess that what I saw did impress me. I had always liked Renault Kwid’s design which gave it an aggressive SUV-like stance on the outside and its spacious ergonomic interiors. So this time, I was eager to know what special was being offered by Kwid’s limited edition.
The first thing that grabbed my attention was the use of red accents across the exteriors which further attenuated Renault Kwid’s already refined look. I found that Renault Kwid’s limited edition came with smart use of red accents on the front grille inserts, roof rails and front & rear skid plates along with a red ‘Climber’ decal on the C-pillar.
Besides these red accents, Renault Kwid’s design for the limited edition also included an electrically adjusted piano black ORVMs and piano black multi-spoke flex wheels. The combination of red and piano black made Renault Kwid’s design stand out from the crowd. When this was clubbed with the Ice Cool White body with Mystery Black roof, Renault Kwid’s design became simply irresistible for both Nikita and me.
However, the icing on cake was Renault Kwid’s pricing. It started at just Rs. 4.64 lakh* (Ex. Showroom Delhi) and incurred just 35 paise/km* towards maintenance. These meant that not only was Kwid economic to own but easy to maintain too! For the festive season, Renault Kwid’s limited edition had some great offers running. For instance, there was a special festive benefit up to Rs. 35 000/-* and an additional 10% discount on the Easy Care service pack.
After the test drive, Nikita and I walked back and told my parents that we were impressed by Renault Kwid’s design and I was going to book it. They just asked me one question, “Is this your final decision or has someone influenced you?”
I knew their intention and replied, “This decision is made keeping the future in mind!” I know they got the message.
