Renault Kiger Design – A Well Sculpted Masterpiece
As an architect, I have developed a deep understanding and appreciation of design over the years. Be it a multi-storey apartment, an independent bungalow, or the interiors of an office or home, I believe that a design must create joy and functionality for the user.
I try to extend this belief in my everyday life too. Everything I use, right from my coffee mug to my car is not only functional, but also has an aesthetic angle attached to it. In continuation to that, I even traded my sedan of 8 years for a brand new Kiger because I felt that the Renault Kiger design was simply outstanding!
Actually, one of the clients had brought his Kiger during a site visit and we went in his car instead of my sedan. The moment I saw the Renault Kiger’s design, I had a great hunch about the car. I did not say anything to my client that day but quietly kept on observing the car.
The next day I called up the showroom and asked them about the test drive of the Kiger. They quickly arranged for one and the car arrived at my place at the assigned time. They had sent a dual-tone Kiger that had an ice-cool white body with a black top.
On the outside, Renault Kiger’s design was stunning, to say the least. It was the combination of the chrome front grille, the tri-octa pure vision LED headlamps with LED DRLs, the C-shaped signature LED tail lamps, diamond-cut alloy wheels, and the shark fin antenna with a sporty rear spoiler, which simply made the car look more desirable to me. I was now excited to get behind the wheel and take this beauty for a ride.
As if the exteriors were not enough, I was even more pleasantly surprised when I got in. A commanding view of the road ahead greeted me the moment I got into the driver’s seat. The instrument cluster was very well designed. I even found the 20.32 cm floating touchscreen to be well placed and very easy to use. I could easily see that the Renault Kiger’s design stood out over any other car I had seen before.
The car was zippy to drive with an engine, powerful enough to gallop on the road. The Kiger stood high on performance, transmission and its HR10 petrol engine returned an average of a good 20.53 KM/L. Its dimensions were also just right so as to let you park even in tight spots. All in all, I felt that a lot of thought had gone into bringing the Renault Kiger’s design into reality. But the best part was that this design masterpiece could be mine for just Rs. 5.79 lakh* (Ex Showroom Delhi). Even the Kiger’s maintenance came at just 40 paisa/km* which made it an attractive buy. But the best part of the car was its safety! The Renault Kiger comes with a 4-star safety rating by Global NCAP. This means that the Kiger is not just a value for money car, but it is safe too!
Today, when I visit my clients, the first thing they do is appreciate my Renault Kiger’s design and then start discussing their project with me!
